Job summary

HNTB is seeking a senior engineering technology leader to own select engineering technologies across the enterprise, guiding evaluation, deployment, governance, and training to improve project delivery.

Based in the Los Angeles area or any major HNTB location, you will lead vendor relationships, mentor practitioners, and champion standardized workflows while advancing digital delivery and knowledge management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental), Drafting, Architecture, Urban Planning, or IT and 16+ years of experience using engineering technologies to develop or support complicated transportation projects
• In lieu of degree, 22+ years of experience using engineering technologies to develop or support complicated transportation projects
• Demonstrated enterprise authority in engineering technology and digital delivery

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineering technology owner across lifecycle and evaluate hardware, software and cloud solutions for deployment
• Lead discussions with practitioners, teams, and stakeholders to support adoption of engineering technologies
• Develop, document, communicate, deliver, and maintain technical workflows, standards, and training for project delivery
• Provide guidance and support to practitioners, coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve workflows
