Job summary

HNTB seeks a senior engineering technology leader to own select technologies across the enterprise, guiding lifecycle from evaluation to deployment, governance, and continuous improvement. You will lead vendor relationships, influence strategy, develop workflows, standards, and training, and mentor teams to raise project delivery quality.

This role may be based out of any major HNTB location, including Minneapolis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental) or IT with 16+ years in engineering tech for transportation projects.
In lieu of degree, 22+ years of engineering technology experience on transportation projects.

Responsibilities

Own select engineering technologies throughout the lifecycle, evaluating hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
Lead discussions with practitioners, project teams, and stakeholders to adopt technologies.
Develop and maintain workflows, standards, and training to improve delivery quality.
Provide guidance and support to practitioners, including issue resolution and knowledge transfer.
Coordinate vendor interactions, contracts, and roadmap discussions to align with project needs.
Conduct research, testing, and documentation to inform technology decisions and modernization.
