Job summary

Training machinists and inspectors is possible, with strong troubleshooting and read of blueprints required. The position calls for 8+ years of relevant experience, AA/AS degree, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• AA or AS degree; and high school diploma.
• 8+ years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend verbal as well as written instructions in English.
• Ability to read blueprints/mechanical drawings.
• Ability to use a microscope.
• Intermediate computer skills including typing, Excel, SAP and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Documents, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence, and processes in the manufacture of final product.
• Establishes process and prototypes to ensure customer quality and delivery requirements.
• Creates work instructions and documents; trains others on processes.
• Performs analytical and diagnostic engineering tests and defines root cause.
• Inspects parts for tolerances and disposition of rejects.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment; may program or calibrate.
