Kyocera International, Inc. in Vancouver, WA is seeking an Engineering Technician 4 to support production, quality, and engineering teams. The role focuses on improving and implementing procedures, testing and project scoping, and training machinists and inspectors.
Strong troubleshooting and knowledge of machining processes are essential. Responsibilities include setting up production systems, potentially leading small projects, and developing process documentation.
Salary Range: $26 – $35 hourly.
The Engineering Technician 4 works under limited supervision to provide a variety of support to production, quality, and engineering teams. This role will be responsible for the improvement and implementation of procedures throughout the plants and will be involved in testing, implementation and scoping of projects, and ones that require the use of independent judgment in determining a course of action. This position will assist with the setup of new production systems and may train machinists, operators and inspectors. The Engineering Technician must have strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of a variety of machining processes. They possess substantial understanding of the job and apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. This level will effectively train others and may lead smaller projects.
