Job summary

Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract for an Engineering Technician 4 in Sunnyvale, CA. The role supports the Manufacturing engineering team with testing, troubleshooting and development tasks to meet productivity goals.

Responsibilities include data collection, fixture development, and strict documentation. The candidate should have a strong background in wiring, electronics, and mechanical assembly, plus familiarity with JIRA, Agile, and SAP.

Qualifications

• AS degree, trade school, military technical training or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of troubleshooting experience and ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with PCAs, electronics components, and mechanical assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support, perform tests, collect data and document activities.
• Assist with parts orders, fixtures, and development tasks for evaluation.
• Triage production interruptions, propose steps to keep production moving and document escalation actions.
