Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assembly Technician to support prototype and pre-production system builds in a mechanical lab environment in Sunnyvale, CA. You will build, modify, and rework assemblies from released drawings and BOMs while supporting engineering during a critical production period.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate documentation, following build procedures, and maintaining the lab. This is a 2-3 month on-site contract with daily meals and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling mechanical or electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build mechanical and electromechanical assemblies from drawings and BOMs.
• Support prototype, pre-production builds.
• Perform assembly rework and modifications as needed.
• Follow engineering docs and build procedures.
• Maintain documentation using Jira/Confluence.
• Organize and maintain the mechanical lab environment.
• Identify and elevate build issues when appropriate.
