Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field with two years experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma and three years progressively responsible engineering experience.
• One year as Engineering Technician III in Nevada State service.
• Assist engineers with field and laboratory tests, data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of construction projects and related activities.
• Assist engineers with drafting, surveying and testing tasks.
• Maintain and organize contract files and reports per guidelines.
• Operate and calibrate testing equipment and document results.
• Coordinate with contractors, staff and the public as required.
• Work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
