Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC in Henderson, NV is seeking a Senior Engineering Team Lead (Sr.ETL) to build, grow, and manage a high‑performing engineering team. The Sr.ETL will focus on organizational development, team retention, and cultivating a high‑performance culture with limited hands‑on work.

You will guide complex control system designs, collaborate with Sr. Engineers and Project Managers, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery across projects. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically 10+ years total tech and management experience.
• Proven Track Record: 3+ years as Engineering Team Lead or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the engineering team, focusing on safety, training, and career progression.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard engineers from entry to senior levels.
• Lead culture of high performance and accountability.
• Ensure alignment with Thermo’s Quality Standards and customer site procedures.
• Provide high‑level technical guidance with limited hands‑on work.
• Collaborate with Sr. Engineers and Project Managers to estimate task duration and manage schedules.
• Mentor colleagues during startup and commissioning of systems.
• Understand project invoicing and financial projections.
• Stay current with control technologies (HMI, PLC, communications).
• Champion adherence to QMS.
