Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico is seeking a senior Design Engineer to support Creo Parametric and PDMLink configurations. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary staff including design and software engineers to plan, requirements, integration and deliveries for engineering initiatives.

On any given day you may lead NPI enhancements, provide SME guidance, and mentor customers on CREO and Windchill PDMLink while coordinating with cross-site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MS/PhD in relevant discipline may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with software asset management and infrastructure development.
• Software configuration design.
• Using and implementing industry design standards and data formats.
• Leading and managing government funded projects and/or military operations.
• Information Technology Software asset management.

Responsibilities

• Recognized Creo Parametric SME, guiding software installation, configuration and end-user support.
• Lead NPI initiatives to identify and implement performance enhancements to DFMPro, Granta, Creo Parametric, Windchill PDMLink, MathCAD and related tools.
• Integrator ensuring DE compliance to current Sandia National Laboratories processes and requirements.
• Customer mentor on Creo and Windchill PDMLink functionalities, promoting continuous learning.
• Coordinate with Sandia California, NSE, and other teams to standardize Creo Parametric and PDMLink configurations.
