Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to join the ND Future Systems team, supporting studies from pre-phase 1 to rapid demonstrations and integrating architectures into flight vehicles.

On any given day you may lead design/qualification, interface with NSE partners, develop system requirements/CONOPs, and brief DOE/DOW stakeholders; onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five years of directly relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent and ability to obtain Sigma 15.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team performing system design or qualification.
• Interface with National Security Enterprise (NSE) partners.
• Support system studies and phase 1 studies exploring future ND system design concepts.
• Partner with vehicle designers to integrate architectures into flight vehicles.
• Develop and refine system requirements and CONOPs.
• Brief DOE and DOW customers and stakeholders.
