Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a seasoned Design Engineering professional to lead Creo Parametric activities, oversee NPI initiatives, and ensure compliance with design processes. You will coordinate with managers, engineers, and customers to drive development, testing, and deployment of new products and processes across multiple teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience managing government projects, advanced degrees, and strong skills in software asset management, PDMLink configuration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A higher‑level degree (MS, PhD) in relevant discipline may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with software asset management and infrastructure development.
• Software configuration design.
• Using and implementing industry design standards and data formats.
• Leading and managing government funded projects and/or military operations.
• Information Technology Software asset management.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with multi‑disciplinary staff including design engineers, software engineers, and product development engineers to plan, requirements, integration and communications.
• Update development backlogs, plan upcoming releases, and coordinate tasks across a team to meet project deliverables.
• Serve as SME for Creo Parametric; lead implementation of performance enhancements across DFMPro, Granta, Creo, Windchill PDMLink, MathCAD, and related tools.
