Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to join the Enterprise PLM Solutions team on a hybrid work schedule. You will help develop, customize, and support large-scale PLM systems such as Windchill, Aras, and Teamcenter, collaborating with a diverse development team.

The role emphasizes applying software engineering principles, DevOps, and integration across hardware and software interfaces, with on-site and remote work options. A DOE Q clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting COTS tools, including PLM software (Windchill, Aras, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Scrum agile framework and configuration management practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work with a high performing development team on PLM software and related improvements to existing systems.
• Apply software engineering principles, tools, and DevOps practices to develop and support applications.
• Evaluate interfaces between hardware and software and overall system requirements.
• Implement COTS and internally developed software solutions.
• Support DevOps processes and capabilities.
