Job summary

Sundt Construction seeks an experienced project manager/estimator to administer and execute assigned projects in a safe, profitable, and timely manner. The role interfaces with owners, designers, and subcontractors to support bids, value engineering, and scheduling, while controlling costs and procurements.

Minimum requirements include a BS in Engineering or equivalent and 5–10+ years in construction contract documentation with PM/Estimating experience.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• 5-7 yrs in construction contract documentation; 3-5 yrs in a PM/Estimating role; Sr: 10+ yrs in docs and 7+ yrs in PM/Estimating.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the bid/proposal process.
• Establishes work breakdown structure and performs quantity surveys.
• Interfaces with owner, architect, engineer, contractors and subcontractors for bid/Design/VE, constructability reviews, and schedule analysis.
• Manages construction documentation (RFIs, ASIs, etc.).
• Manages project costs to meet or exceed target margins.
• Manages project procurement.
• Negotiates, writes and awards contractors and purchase order agreements.
• Supports company strategic planning efforts.
• Performs pricing of material, labor and equipment, and prepares all billings.
