GAI Consultants seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of leadership in traffic and engineering projects. The role oversees engineers, manages plans and finances, and acts as a client representative for diverse clients nationwide.

PE licensure is required, with the ability to attain PE in additional states. The position offers on-site or hybrid work at Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia offices, and includes eligibility for a sign-on bonus and a path toward advanced leadership

Qualifications

• PE License required; able to obtain PE in additional states.
• Oversee engineers in development of plans, financial monitoring, and client representation.
• State Agencies experience required; design-build experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and guidelines for projects.
• Lead projects within your area of specialization.
• Propose design alternatives considering constraints and permitting.
• Incorporate sustainability and advanced concepts into solutions.
• Oversee project management including technical, legal, and financial aspects.
• May serve as Project Manager for select projects up to $150,000 per year.
• Supervise a major practice segment or several teams.
• Foster staff development within your segment.
