Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead our engineering teams in Fremont, CA. The role focuses on scaling up laboratory processes to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

The ideal candidate has over a decade in high-technology manufacturing, deep knowledge of semiconductor processes (PVD, Etch, ALD, Diffusion), and strong leadership abilities to guide Design, Equipment, and Process Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• >10 years of related experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of semiconductor processes and clean-room protocols.
• Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct engineering personnel and projects across design and equipment engineering.
• Oversee NPI, CIP, and customer-facing engineering initiatives.
• Develop and implement process controls and safety standards.
• Coordinate capital expenditures and facility modifications.
• Ensure on-time delivery of projects and maintain milestone plans.
