Job summary

Semgrep, the leader in code security, is seeking an Engineering Manager for our supply chain team. You will lead a group building customer-facing tools to help developers secure dependencies, reducing noise and surfacing reachable vulnerabilities.

You will mentor engineers, shape product strategy with design and management, and help users understand their security posture while expanding our data systems and tooling to scale with customer needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong foundation in product development and bringing products to production via a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Familiarity with agile development principles and iterative milestone development.
• A strong desire to help engineers and other leaders grow through coaching and mentorship.
• Experience with Software Composition Analysis, security products, or dev tooling companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a roadmap for your product, balancing iterative changes with bold bets.
• Prioritize and direct the team's schedule, balancing new tech with internal quality.
• Coach and mentor engineers, provide feedback and performance guidance.
• Contribute technically to deliver new features and understand the team’s work.
