Job summary

Semgrep is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Supply Chain team to guide a group building customer-facing tools that secure software dependencies. You will help reduce noise and focus on actionable vulnerabilities, mentoring engineers and collaborating on data systems architecture to improve security posture.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, partner with product and design, and shape quarterly roadmaps while maintaining high technical quality and developer velocity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong foundation in product development and bringing products to production via a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Familiarity with agile development principles and iterative milestone development.
• A strong desire to help engineers and other leaders grow through coaching and mentorship.
• Nice-Have: opinions on Software Composition Analysis, security product or dev tooling experience.

• Work with product and design to create a roadmap for your product.
• Prioritize and direct your team’s schedule, balancing new technology with internal quality.
• Retain and coach engineers, provide feedback and performance reviews.
