Job summary

Headway is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Infrastructure team, owning cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, LLM infrastructure, and the data layer. You will guide architecture, set the team strategy, and ensure reliability across the AWS environment powering Headway's AI-accelerated platform.

You will partner with Security and product engineering, building self-serve tooling and defining production readiness for AI workloads, while maintaining a high-performance on-call

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
• 5+ years as a Software or Infrastructure Engineer
• Experience with cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS) and observability tooling (Datadog)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Infrastructure team and own cloud infrastructure, pipelines, and AI platform primitives.
• Set strategy and vision for the team; report to the Head of Engineering Foundations.
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of Mamba and the AWS stack.
• Define production readiness for AI workloads and co-own container security with Security.
• Build self-serve tooling and reduce blast radius for incidents.
