Constellation Energy seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering function, support site operations, and act as backup to the Site Engineering Director. The role focuses on meeting station needs, regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality engineering results.

The position requires 10 years in engineering with nuclear experience and an SRO credential, plus leadership and budget responsibilities within a nuclear power plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science OR Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license
• 10 years of overall experience including 4 years power plant, 1 year nuclear power plant and 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience
• Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification or plant operational knowledge
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standards for personnel at nuclear power plants
• Maintain access requirements and pass medical examinations as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements
• Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives
• Fulfill managerial responsibilities including employment, development, compensation, and performance evaluation
• Lead engineering programs that impact site operations
• Participate as senior resource to nuclear-wide programs and initiatives
• Perform other duties as directed by management including outage coverage
