Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks a seasoned engineering leader to manage the site engineering function, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality results for the nuclear operation. As a senior manager, you will guide engineering staff and collaborate with site leadership to align with corporate objectives.

You will oversee engineering programs, drive performance, and participate in nuclear-wide initiatives while fulfilling duty coverage and outage support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science OR Active/Inactive SRO license.
• 10 years of overall experience, including 4 years at a power plant, 1 year nuclear power plant experience and 1 year of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification or plant operational knowledge.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 requirements for personnel in nuclear power plants.
• Must meet access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives.
• Fulfill managerial responsibilities including Employment, Development, Compensation, and Performance Evaluation for assigned staff.
• Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership for short-term and long-term programs affecting site operations.
• Participate as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized engineering systems and processes.
• All other duties per company policy or management direction including Emergency Response duties and outage support.
