Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science.
• 10 years total experience, including 4 years power plant, 1 year nuclear power plant, and 1 year supervisory/managerial experience.
• Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification or plant operational knowledge as per engineering manager requirements.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standard for personnel selection, qualification, and training.
• Maintain access requirements and pass medical examination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives; focus on high-quality results.
• Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (employment, development, compensation, performance evaluation).
• Oversee engineering and technical leadership for short- and long-term programs affecting site operations.
• Participate as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized engineering systems and processes.
• Carry out other duties per company policy, including emergency response, outage support, and cross-departmental assignments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or related science

Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license or certification
