Job summary

CONSTELLATION ENERGY seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee the site engineering function and serve as a backup to the Site Engineering Director. You will lead engineering operations aligned with regulatory requirements and drive high-quality results for the power plant.

You will manage personnel development, participate in business planning and performance reviews, and coordinate with nuclear-wide programs to standardize systems and processes at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license.
• Total of 10 years experience including 4 years in power plant, 1 year nuclear, and 1 year in supervisory/managerial roles.
• Active SRO license, inactive SRO license, SRO certification, or equivalent plant knowledge.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standards for personnel at nuclear power plants.
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access as applicable plus medical examination/testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage performance and development of engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives; focus on high-quality results.
• Fulfill managerial responsibilities for assigned staff, including employment, development, compensation, and performance evaluations.
• Lead short- and long-term engineering programs impacting site operations; direct through subordinates.
• Contribute as senior resource to nuclear-wide programs and initiatives on standardized engineering systems and processes.
• Support outage activities and other site duties as directed.
