Job summary

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to accelerate aerospace and defense manufacturing. The role leads engineering for one or more business domains, building teams that ship product, own systems in production, and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.

You will stay hands-on as a player-coach, drive architecture, and turn business priorities into sequenced, shipped work while improving the developer lifecycle and maintaining high standards in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of engineering management experience leading product engineering teams in production.
• Strong full-stack engineering background prior to management.
• Proven ability to own business-critical product domains and drive technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more business domains end-to-end, including product outcomes and engineering execution.
• Hire, grow, and retain a strong team; set a clear bar and address performance.
• Stay hands-on with architecture reviews, production incidents, and roadmap execution.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to shape the roadmap and translate priorities into shipped work.
• Improve the developer lifecycle across planning, design, code review, testing, deployment, and on-call.
