Job summary

Hadrian is seeking a senior Systems Test leader to head the Autonomous Factory Systems division. You will build and scale a team of test and simulation engineers, defining standards and tools for end-to-end verification of our robotics and manufacturing software stack.

You will drive test plans across development and production, model edge cases in simulation, and set quality gates for release. Strong leadership and deep technical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Systems Engineering or in a related engineering discipline; INCOSE CSEP or equivalent is a plus.
• 10+ years of systems or test engineering experience for complex electromechanical/robotic systems and a track record of technical leadership.
• Experience building and scaling test strategies for integrated hardware and software systems.
• Experience directing simulation test environments to model behavior, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Familiarity with robotics, industrial automation, or manufacturing cell environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Systems Test division — hire and grow a team of test engineers and simulation testers, establishing standards, tools, and processes.
• Drive full test plan coverage across programs, from development to production, validating against real-world conditions.
• Direct simulation test development to model edge cases identified in test plans and translate them to coverage of manufacturing cell operation.
• Set technical direction across hardware sub-components and autonomous manufacturing cells.
• Stay deeply technical, focusing on test architecture and engineering standards; not a people-management role.
• Partner with hardware, robotics, and software teams to embed testability and coverage from the start.
• Define quality gates to determine readiness for release.
