Hadrian is leading the autonomous factory revolution, building software and hardware that enable safe, scalable manufacturing of mission-critical aerospace and defense components. The Senior role heads the Systems Test division across development and production, driving standards, tooling, and end-to-end test coverage.

You will lead a team of test and simulation engineers, collaborate with hardware, robotics, and software teams, and shape the quality gates that decide when systems are released.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in systems or test engineering for complex electromechanical or robotic systems.
• Experience building and scaling test strategies for integrated hardware and software.
• Experience directing simulation test environments modeling edge cases and failures.
• Familiarity with robotics, automation, or manufacturing cells.
• Strong leadership and ability to grow a technical team.
• Excellent communication across engineering and program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Systems Test division, hire and grow a team, establishing technical standards, tools, and processes.
• Drive full test plan coverage across all Autonomous Factory Systems programs, from early development through production release.
• Direct simulation test development to model edge cases and off-nominal conditions identified in test plans.
• Set technical direction across hardware sub-components and the autonomous manufacturing cells integration.
• Stay deeply technical—focus on test architecture, simulation test methodology, and engineering standards.
• Partner cross-functionally with hardware, robotics, and software teams to embed testability into system design.
• Define quality gates and processes to determine readiness for release.
