Job summary

OpenLoop seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Forward Deployed Engineering, embedding with clients to integrate against production APIs. This player-coach role focuses on scalable teams, credible design reviews, and credible client outcomes. You’ll work with platform, implementation, customer success and sales daily.

You’ll own deployments, prioritize capacity, mentor engineers, and ensure a strong handoff at go-live while maintaining technical credibility and security-first practices.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years of people management.
Experience delivering in customers' environments and deployments.
Track record migrating or re-platforming for clients.
Strong technical review skills and design influence.

Responsibilities

Own client outcomes across a portfolio and ensure clean go-lives.
Allocate capacity and assign new clients with clear ownership.
Lead pods through architects with ownership and escalation rights.
Migrate existing clients to the Partner API in coordinated cohorts.
Collaborate with platform teams and drive go-live exits and adoption.
