Job summary

Mesh is seeking an exceptional leader to build and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering organization, reporting to the CTO. You will lead senior engineers embedded with our most strategic partners and define the operating model, cadence, and hiring bar.

You will own delivery at key accounts, shape product direction, and establish scalable reference architectures and QA/monitoring to prevent failures in production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical roles.
• 4+ years leading forward-deployed teams.
• Experience building a 0→1 organization or new service line.
• Track record of attracting, developing, and retaining senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the FDE organization.
• Define operating model: engagement shape, deployment cadence, scoping standards, and hiring bar.
• Hire 2–3 senior and staff-level generalists near partner teams.
• Own delivery at strategic accounts.
• Shape product and platform strategy.
• Build reference architectures, QA, and monitoring to catch failure modes early.
