OpenLoop is seeking a Senior Manager for Engineering Recruiting to lead and scale our engineering recruitment function. You will partner with engineering leaders, own engineering leadership hiring, and build scalable processes including evergreen pipelines and interviewer calibration.

The role balances hands-on leadership with player-coach responsibilities, driving performance, pipeline health, and data-driven decisions across the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct people-management experience, coaching recruiters and managing performance.
• Experience building or scaling engineering recruiting processes in lean teams.
• Familiarity with recruiting at scale: evergreen pipelines, team matching, interviewer calibration, structured assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical recruiting professionals, setting clear expectations and managing performance.
• Partner with Engineering leadership to translate business priorities into recruiting plans and capacity.
• Own engineering leadership hiring from initial conversations to closing offers.
• Build scalable recruiting processes, evergreen pipelines, team matching, and structured interviews.
• Establish interviewer pools and calibrate interview quality with hiring teams.
• Own recruiting delivery using pipeline health, pass-through rates, time-to-fill, and offer outcomes.
• Improve ATS workflows, reporting, and data quality.
• Allocate recruiting resources to critical searches and proactive pipelines.
• Collaborate with People and compensation on leveling and offer strategies.
• Help develop an early-career recruiting approach and interview-day processes.
• Set standards for candidate experience and hiring-manager communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
