Job summary

Dexcom Corporation is seeking an accomplished engineering leader to direct a high-performing team responsible for sensor manufacturing equipment development and deployment. The role combines deep technical leadership with strong people management to ensure world-class execution and an engaged, continuously developing team.

You will drive automation lifecycle activities across concept, design, build, validation, transfer and sustained performance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 13+ years industry experience.
• 5-8 years of people management experience.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams in high-volume, regulated manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of automation system design, integration, validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on automation and equipment excellence.
• Plan and manage team capacity, resource allocation, and project priorities.
• Lead automation and equipment development and integration for assembly and inspection processes.
• Drive end-to-end equipment lifecycle execution from concept through transfer to manufacturing.
• Ensure disciplined project execution with timelines, risks, and stakeholder updates.
• Champion data-driven decision-making to improve throughput, labor efficiency, and OEE.
