Job summary

Dexcom is seeking an Equipment Technician to support cutting-edge manufacturing and R&D equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment and processes while maintaining accurate maintenance records and inventories.

You will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable operations and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience in manufacturing, engineering, or R&D environments.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and keeping equipment reliable and documented.
• Ability to support automation programming, integration, and operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for equipment, processes, and electronics used in Operations, Engineering, and R&D.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment and processes for safe, efficient operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records and spare parts inventories.
• Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and internal partners to keep systems safe and functional.
• Support programming, integration, and operation of automated equipment and systems.
• Contribute to equipment and process development projects with planning, installation, testing, and implementation.
• Coordinate activities with project engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and update technical documentation and records; assist with group leader duties.
• Follow all safety requirements and use proper precautions.
