Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in San Diego, CA seeks a Senior Manager of QA Engineering to lead a team responsible for automation equipment quality across programs.

You will drive regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement while partnering with Engineering, Operations, and R&D to scale manufacturing technologies. You will guide Design Controls, Process Validation, and Quality Systems, ensuring effective audits and successful product readiness for commercialization in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 13+ years of industry experience.
5-8 years of people management experience.
Experience leading QA for regulated manufacturing environments.
Deep knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485, Design Controls and Process Validation.
Strong CAPA, nonconformance and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers across programs and sites.
Set strategic direction for QA activities aligned with regulatory requirements.
Oversight of Design Control, Design Transfer, Process Validation, and Manufacturing Quality.
Partner with Engineering, Operations and R&D to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
Drive continuous improvement through metrics, audits, and systemic problem solving.
