Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
• Proven track record of developing high-performing engineers.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices and system design.
• Experience driving execution in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Sound business judgment and excellent communication.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy domains.

Responsibilities

• Hire, grow, and retain excellent engineers, owning their career development and performance reviews.
• Coach engineers with clear, direct feedback to accelerate growth.
• Create clarity around priorities, goals, and execution across multiple workstreams.
• Match engineers to projects aligning with career goals and strengths.
• Own the hiring bar and candidate experience, running interview loops and debriefs.
• Assist with team planning, delivery, code quality, and retrospectives.
• Drive how the team applies AI across the software lifecycle to raise productivity.
• Take on targeted, high-priority engineering work to keep delivery on track.
