Job summary

Render is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Agent Platform & UX to lead two teams focused on onboarding and activation for humans and AI agents. You’ll shape the self-serve user journey from signup to monetization, and drive platform and API experiences that empower developers.

You’ll hire and mentor engineers, review code, and partner with product and design to align roadmaps with growth and activation metrics.

Qualifications

Strong people leadership and track record of growing teams.
Hands-on enough to review code and contribute when needed.
Ability to operate in ambiguity with a growth mindset.
Experience building and scaling more than one team and mentoring senior engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow two teams: UX onboarding and Agent Platform.
Own the roadmap for the self-serve user journey from first touch to activation and monetization.
Drive the agent-facing side of the platform via API-driven experiences.
Partner with product and design to align roadmaps with customer needs and growth.
Hire and develop engineers to support team growth while preserving team identity.
Make architectural and product decisions balancing long-term platform investment with incremental improvements.
Build a performance and career development culture for senior ICs.
