You will partner with Product, Design, and Growth to translate ambitious goals into high-impact initiatives while mentoring engineers and upholding engineering excellence in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in engineering management with a track record of delivering products and growing teams.
• 8+ years in software development.
• Experience mentoring engineers, managing performance, and setting engineering standards.
• Strong architecture sense, addressing technical debt, and robust design decisions.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to break down complex projects and anticipate risks.
• Clear communication to diverse stakeholders and driving productive launches.

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and empowera cross-functional sprint team within our engineering organization.Our team’s mission is to empower a new generation of travelentrepreneurs by building the products, systems, and workflows thatattract, convert, and retain the advisors and travelers who rely on us every day.

We’re looking for someone who can lead a fast-moving product surface — from core platform capabilities and AI-assisted tooling to system foundations and performance — and translate ambitious product goals into a well-executed, scalable solution.

You will partner closely with Product, Design, and Growth to deliver high-impact product initiatives while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing people, energized by platform performance and engineering systems at scale, and excited to shape the digital face of a company in hypergrowth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of the cross-functional team,ensuring strong delivery , clear priorities, and sustainabledevelopment practices.
• Partner closely with product, design, and growth counterparts todefine solutions that improve the advisor and member experienceacross key workflows.
• Oversee the development of new platform capabilities whilecontinuously improving existing functionality across the team’score systems and tooling.
• Provide technical leadership by engaging deeply with architecture,implementation details, and core engineering fundamentals toguide high-quality technical decisions.
• Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback,mentorship, and career development support.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that reflectsthe organization’s commitment to building diverse and high-performing engineering teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in engineering management roles with aproven track record of driving successful product deliveries andteam growth.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, effectively manageperformance, and build highly motivated, engaged teams. Strong technical acumen, with experience making informedarchitectural decisions, addressing technical debt, and settingrobust engineering standards.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills,including the ability to break down complex projects, anticipaterisks, and deliver consistently high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technicalconcepts clearly to diverse stakeholders and facilitate productive,drama-free project launches.
• Proven recruiting experience, capable of evaluating engineeringcandidates effectively and representing the company positively .
• A collaborative, empathetic leadership style that emphasizeshumility , openness to feedback, accountability , and continuouslearning.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in an early- to mid-stage startup environment where ambiguity and pace are part ofthe fun.
• First-principles thinker who carefully evaluates each problem,thoughtfully choosing between established best practices andbespoke solutions, especially when designing team processes andnorms.

Compensation

Compensation range for this role can vary widely depending on experience, and for this role an indicative range is $210k-$235k + equity. Other benefits include:
