Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to guide the FastAuth team within the Specialty Access & Affordability value stream. You will own delivery across multiple workstreams, set strategic goals, and drive performance health in a scaled agile environment.

The role requires deep experience in modern web stacks (TypeScript, React, .NET) and cloud platforms (Azure), with a proven track record of cross-functional leadership, hiring, and career development.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience.
• 4+ years leading software engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Track record delivering multiple concurrent workstreams with real business impact.
• Technical foundation in modern web stacks and cloud platforms, ideally TypeScript, React, .NET, and Azure.
• Working understanding of event-driven architecture and its tradeoffs.
• Experience operating in a scaled agile environment, SAFe or equivalent, including planning across teams.
• Data-driven approach to delivery health, including throughput, cycle time, and predictability metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of AI tooling in engineering workflows.
• Ability to resolve cross-team misalignment directly.
• Clear written and verbal communication for engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FastAuth engineering team within McKesson's Specialty Access & Affordability value stream.
• Own delivery, team health, and technical direction across multiple major workstreams.

• Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and quality.
• Build cross-functional relationships, facilitate conversations, and settle disagreements.
• Promote inclusion and address cultural issues.
