Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring a full‑stack engineer to shape our multi-tenant admin and billing surfaces in California. You will own backend services and frontend features using React/Next.js, Node.js/TypeScript, and Python while ensuring secure access, data isolation, and reliable operation.

You will collaborate with founders, sales, and customers to translate requirements into shipped features and help scale the enterprise platform as our team grows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production software.
• Solid fundamentals in system design and data modeling.
• Comfortable with React/Next.js, Node.js/TypeScript or Python, and relational databases.

Job description

• Implement usage-based billing, invoicing, and payment flows for self-serve and enterprise procurement
• Contribute to platform security and reliability, including access control, data isolation, and compliance groundwork

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production software
• Solid fundamentals in system design and data modeling
• Comfortable with React/Next.js, Node.js/TypeScript or Python, and relational databases
• Strong AI-assisted coding practice using tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
• Product sense for trustworthy admin consoles and effortless workspaces
• Clear communication of technical decisions and trade-offs
• Exposure to payments or billing systems such as Stripe
• Exposure to SSO/SAML, RBAC, audit logging, SOC 2, or GDPR
• Experience with GCP/AWS, observability, or reliability work
• Startup experience or having built something from 0 to 1
