Job summary

BCBST is seeking a strategic leader to drive the AI-enabled software development strategy across enterprise portfolios. You will translate business needs into prioritized roadmaps, align engineering, product, and AI teams, and lead digital transformation.

You will manage a diverse team, define capabilities, workflows, and backlogs, and ensure delivery in a Scaled Agile environment using tools like Copilot.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a corporate setting.
• 4+ years in professional work experience; 6+ years leading consumer tools/technology.
• 4+ years in a leadership/management role.
• 2+ years in project/account management or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, engineering practices, and AI-enabled development.
• Experience building or implementing agentic workflows.
• Hands-on with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, or similar.
• Proven ability to manage portfolios across products, apps, and teams.
• Knowledge of .NET, Java, Python; proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with shared accountability.

Job description

• Drive execution of BCBST's AI-enabled software development strategy
• Define, prioritize, and operationalize capabilities, workflows, tools, and agentic solutions enabling enterprise AI adoption in software delivery
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, application development teams, business stakeholders, AI engineering teams, technology leaders, architects, developers, and testers
• Understand current SDLC practices and identify opportunities for AI enablement
• Translate business and technical needs into a prioritized roadmap and backlog
• Measure value and outcomes delivered through AI-driven capabilities
• Manage a diverse team driving organizational digital transformation
• Lead digital product managers in developing product roadmaps, backlogs, and sprint plans
• Develop future-state visions for digital solutions across products, programs, and campaigns
• Provide subject matter expertise on emerging digital strategy and technology advancements
• Partner with Engineering teams in a Scaled Agile framework to support continuous product enhancements
• Communicate the impact and importance of digital transformation to stakeholders and ensure project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment
• 6 years of experience managing consumer tools/technology, or equivalent experience required
• 4 years of experience in a leadership/management role required
• 2 years of project management, account management or similar experience required
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, engineering practices, and emerging AI-enabled development methodologies
• Experience building or implementing agentic workflows
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, or similar AI platforms
• Proven ability to manage portfolios spanning multiple products, applications, and teams
• Knowledge of modern development technologies and coding practices, including .NET, Java, and Python
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects
