Job summary

Schreiber Foods in Logan, UT seeks a Production Manager to lead a team of production partners in a food manufacturing environment. You will ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality production while maximizing productivity.

The role requires leadership of supervisors, cross‑functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. The candidate will drive production goals, maintain safety standards, and manage budgets and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years Production Supervisor or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, self‑driven, solution‑oriented with a growth mindset.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Experience leading diverse teams in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a diverse team of production supervisors to drive performance and engagement.
• Set production goals, communicate expectations, and align with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration across departments (quality, sanitation, R&D, supply chain, HR).
• Lead regular team meetings focused on safety, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a culture of food safety and quality compliant with OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA and related standards.
• Monitor production KPIs related to efficiency, safety, and partner performance.
• Schedule customer orders considering production efficiency and customer requirements.
• Identify capital improvement opportunities and assist in project management.
• Lead change initiatives to adopt new technologies and processes.
• Provide opportunities for continuous learning and problem solving.
