Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Deputy Engineering Leader within Security and Electronic Systems (SES) to guide engineering for mission-critical facilities. This role focuses on technical leadership, not personnel management, supporting projects from $50k to $20M+ with large-scale facilities.

Ideal candidates will have design/engineering expertise in industrialized construction, strong communication with executive leadership, and familiarity with security systems and cyber security requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of recent experience in construction engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Master's preferred for advanced roles.
• Strong leadership of engineering disciplines and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for electrical systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Provide oversight of client ownership and engineering finances.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across projects.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts and schedules.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
