GE Vernova seeks a Lead Engineer to drive global regulatory compliance for gas power assets in the AMERICAS region, working with internal teams and external agencies to secure certifications. The role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and adherence to standards across GT, GEN, ST and BOP.

The position is based in Greenville, SC with hybrid onsite/remote work and relocation support for non-locals, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to influence Lean and PLM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited college or university; Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or CS/EE preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering design.
• 2+ years with IEC, EU Directives & Americas Codes & Standards (Haz areas, Electrical Safety, EMC, Machinery, Building Code).

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance for Power Generation assets (GT, GEN, ST, BOP), specializing in TRS categories such as Pressure Equipment, Environmental, and Explosive Atmospheres.
• Conduct assessments, develop technical compliance plans, and act as SME to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Interface with external agencies and government bodies to secure international and regional certifications.
• Manage the quality, schedule, and cost of compliance activities, ensuring proactive communication of risks and status.
