Job summary

Exelon is seeking a senior engineering professional to lead complex projects across electrical and/ or gas infrastructure. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with contractors, and drive cost-benefit analyses while ensuring regulatory compliance and performance optimization.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, design reviews, and documentation workflows, with extended hours during storms or emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge and ability to apply problem-solving approaches.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of complex field test equipment.
• Broad knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices necessary to perform routine assignments for a specific discipline installations, or service.
• Equivalent education/experience in related roles may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform engineering assignments on critical projects with complex features.
• Evaluate and implement projects with significant financial and operational impact.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and provide action plans to improve performance.
• May serve as an expert and deliver training or mentoring.
• Coordinate independent design reviews and contractor interactions.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses and manage documentation workflows.
