Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership across planning, design and execution of utility infrastructure projects. You will mentor engineers, lead complex studies, and ensure safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include advanced system analyses, grid modernization strategies, budget and schedule management, field inspections, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders. Extended hours may be required during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE license is required.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• PE license or advanced degree may reduce OJT requirements as noted.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced engineering projects and mentor junior staff.
• Oversee complex analyses and optimize grid performance.
• Develop engineering strategies for reliability and safety.
• Coordinate budgets, schedules, and resources for major projects.
• Collaborate across teams and external stakeholders.
