Job summary

Exelon seeks a General Engineer to lead and support engineering across electric and gas infrastructure. This role develops engineering solutions, manages deliverables, and ensures compliance with standards, including outage analysis and safety initiatives.

You will coordinate field inspections, review studies, and support budgeting and cost estimation for projects, with extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or PE license.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of standards, codes, and engineering principles.
• Experience with field test equipment and advanced engineering methods.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering assignments of moderate complexity with guidance.
• Leads small projects or tasks coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Provides technical support for design, installation and maintenance.
• Participates in evaluation and improvement of technical systems.
