Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead planning, design, and execution of electric/gas distribution, transmission, and substations projects. You'll mentor junior engineers, drive advanced performance analyses, and align with safety and compliance goals.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and resources for major projects, collaborating across groups and with stakeholders, and may perform field inspections while supporting outage investigations and storm coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer (2) prerequisites.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of standards, codes, and practices in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Leads and performs assignments in specialized engineering areas requiring extensive expertise.
• Leads and performs engineering tasks on complex projects and may include field testing and peer review.
• Evaluates complex issues and recommends actions, reviewing engineering design documents.
