Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager in Frisco to lead cross-functional teams that design, build, and operate enterprise applications and digital products. You will steer architecture, coach engineers, and guide automation-driven delivery in an Agile, AI‑augmented environment.

You’ll partner with platform, security, and data teams to balance feature delivery with modernization, while growing talent and driving measurable productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, IT or equivalent.
• 7–10 years building large-scale business systems in agile environments.
• 2–4 years leading cross-functional engineering teams (5+ engineers).
• 2–4 years applying AI/ML concepts in production environments.
• 2+ years driving delivery through automation and velocity gains.
• 2+ years with big data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka).
• 1+ year operating in cloud-native/Kubernetes with CI/CD and IaC.
• 1+ year API platforms, gateways, or developer ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams delivering enterprise apps with architecture guidance.
• Build AI-assisted workflows to reduce cycle time and free engineers for high-judgment work.
• Drive CI/CD improvements, automated quality gates, and reduce tech debt.
• Own the technical roadmap with architecture and security alignment.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate AI/ML tooling and cloud platforms.
• Recruit, hire, and develop engineers with strong automation mindset.
