Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Tech Lead VPP to shape critical systems by translating complex designs into scalable solutions. You will partner with enterprise architects and stakeholders in a fast-moving Agile environment, mentoring engineers and guiding architecture while delivering core features.

You will own components, drive performance and reliability, and uphold testing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST API and microservices.
• Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS or similar.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Implement complex architecture in collaboration with enterprise architects and stakeholders.
• Work with stakeholders in Agile environments to align technical solutions with business priorities.
• Bring structure to ambiguous requirements through sound engineering judgment.
• Own critical components, driving performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and elevate team standards through code reviews and leadership.
