Job summary

Lakefront Management Authority in New Orleans seeks a Division Head to manage engineering, construction, and maintenance for Orleans Levee assets. You will supervise staff, implement department rules, and drive CPM evaluations for direct and indirect reports.

You will direct long-range programs, monitor projects, and ensure compliance with environmental and DEQ/MS4 requirements, reporting to the Executive Director and the Board.

Qualifications

• Louisiana PE license with either 3 years licensed experience or 7 years professional engineering experience.
• Master's or Doctorate can substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
• License transfer from other states allowed; Louisiana license required before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Division Head for Operations and Engineering, supervising staff and setting dept rules.
• Direct planning and management of maintenance and construction for Non-Flood Protection Assets.
• Ensure environmental compliance and DEQ/MS4 permit obligations.
