Job summary

Lakefront Management Authority in New Orleans seeks a Division Head for the Operations and Engineering Department. You will supervise staff and drive programs for maintenance and construction of non-flood protection assets under the Orleans Levee.

Responsibilities include directing project management, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with external firms under contract with the LMA. A Louisiana PE license is required with 3 or 7 years of licensed experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Louisiana Professional Engineer license with either 3 years or 7 years of licensed engineering experience.
• Master's degree substitutes for one year of experience; Doctorate substitutes for two years.
• Advanced degrees substitute for up to two years; no substitution for licensed experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Division Head for the Operations and Engineering Department with direct supervision of staff.
• Formulate current and long-range maintenance and construction programs for Non-Flood Protection Assets of Orleans Levee.
• Ensure environmental compliance and DEQ/ MS4 permit requirements.
