PTI in Eden Prairie, MN seeks an Engineering Director to lead engineering and project management, directing planning and execution of programs. You will align design, testing, and validation with business goals, while maintaining strong customer and supplier technical relationships.

Responsibilities include setting engineering standards, governing budgets, and staffing to build a high-performing team, with a focus on product development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product development and/or project management.
• 7 years supervisory or management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; master's preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute annual product development plans and initiatives.
• Oversee product design, testing and validation and provide professional judgments on results.
• Monitor developments in competitive offerings and technical advances.
• Maintain technical relationships with customers and service suppliers; provide technical assistance.
• Set standards, policies, processes and benchmarks for engineering.
• Lead optimization of information infrastructure and product development prioritization.
• Design new products to meet performance and financial targets; improve existing ones.
• Own and improve the Engineering Change Notice release process.
• Establish annual operating budget and manage to it.
• Develop employees through coaching and training to build a high-performing team.
