Job summary

Advanced Energy in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Project Coordinator II to organize, manage, and coordinate multiple cross-functional product development projects of moderate complexity. This role drives project execution from initiation through completion, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Management to ensure objectives are met.

A track record of coordinating several projects, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Project or Jira are required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience coordinating or managing engineering, product development, operations, or technical projects.
• Experience developing project schedules, status reporting, risk tracking, and resource planning.
• Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and coordinate multiple product development projects and engineering initiatives of moderate complexity from project initiation through closure.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, milestones, action items, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Proactively identify project risks, resource conflicts, schedule impacts, and execution challenges; recommend and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Facilitate cross-functional project meetings, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and follow-through on project commitments.
• Track project performance against established objectives, timelines, budgets, and business goals.
• Prepare and communicate project status updates, dashboards, metrics, and executive summaries to stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate activities among Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Product Management, Marketing, and other functional groups.
• Support engineering capacity planning, resource forecasting, and prioritization activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, metrics, and reporting methods.
• Contribute to product development processes, stage-gate reviews, and documentation activities as appropriate.
• Escalate project concerns appropriately and facilitate resolution of issues affecting project execution.
• Provide guidance and best practices to less experienced project coordinators and project team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
